| The program will consist of |
| A mini-course focusing on the relationship between discrete and continuous models in the life sciences | ||
| A mini-course focusing on how neuronal networks generate rhythmic activity | ||
| Colloquia presented by FSU faculty members | ||
| Tours of FSU facilities, including laboratories in the life sciences | ||
| Students will be provided with |
| Room and board on campus at no cost | ||
| Reasonable travel reimbursement | ||
| A stipend of $250 per week | ||

Applicants will be notified of the status of their applications by April 15, 2009.
Students who accept offers of participation must submit an official university/college transcript that covers at least the most recent two years; the transcript must be received by May 1, 2009.
