The following images of ellipsoidal beads aligned along spiral paths were constructed with Open Inventor. The ellipsoids are scaled spheres. Here's a Matlab script that generates the Open Inventor file corresponding to the first image: beads.m, and here's the generated Open Inventor file: beads.iv
