Actuary positions at Assurant:

Open actuarial positions, based in sunny Miami, working for Fortune 500 company! 

Positions involve both traditional actuarial reserving work and pricing.

Reserving - In addition to making reserve projections using standard

actuarial techniques, this position will involve maintaining SOX compliance

standards, the annual completion of an Actuarial Opinion and Actuarial

Report, along with assisting the Financial Reporting Department with Annual

Statement preparation.

Pricing - In the pricing capacity, position will include monitoring product

profitability, assembling product rate filings, assisting in new product

development, and responding to Department of Insurance interrogatories. The

positions also require the successful completion of 2 — 6 actuarial exams.

All candidates should be actively pursuing the attainment of Fellowship in

the Casualty Actuarial Society. There is extreme opportunity for growth

available, including potential supervisory roles in the organization.
