Position Overview
As an Actuarial Associate, you will work
on a variety of challenging client
assignments, which will include working with clients and project teams to
analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These
experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry
expertise. Working side by side
with Towers Perrin Consultants at all levels, you will be exposed to emerging
issues affecting the marketplace and have the opportunity to learn from some of
the most accomplished professionals in the actuarial industry.

What We Are Looking ForÉ
n
Bachelors or
Masters degree with a major/minor in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics,
finance or any major with significant quantitative course work, and a strong
academic record
n
Successful
completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred. Candidates with no exams will be
considered if the university the candidate attended does not offer an actuarial
science curriculum, but can provide specific examples of strong math aptitude
n
Demonstrated
leadership skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
n
Strong oral
and written communication skills
n
Work experience
that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills (actuarial
internship preferred)
n
Completion of courses in
Applied Statistical Methods, Corporate Finance and Economics that satisfy the
Society of Actuary's VEE course requirement considered a plus
