  <title>
    Derived Hall algebras associated to stable homotopy theories
  </title>

  <speaker>Julie Bergner (UC Riverside)</speaker>

  <abstract>
    A recent area of interest in representation theory is the question of how to associate some kind of Hall algebra to a category which is triangulated rather than abelian. We'll look at Toen's derived Hall algebras, which can be defined for certain stable model categories, and how they can be defined for a more general notion of stable homotopy theory.
