Instructions for Accessing E-Grade

I. Homepage of e-grade: http://russell.math.fsu.edu:9888/

II. Practice Quizzes. (Although you must login to access the quizzes available on the PRACTICE site, I will never record or retain these grades. They are for you to learn the material.)

A. From the homepage of e-grade hit “Start”

B. Click “Assignments” in the left side-legend.

C. Choose the PRACTICE site for your class and click “OK”

D. Choose your assignment and click “OK”

E. Login

1. Login Name: First 5 letters of your last name followed by the last four digits of your FSUSN (all on one line.)

2. Password: your entire FSUSN. (The beginning letters must be capitalized because the password is “case sensitive.”)

F. Take the test or quiz and click “GRADE.”

2. After drop/add ends, a quiz covering e-grade procedures will be made available as a homework quiz (for a retained grade)—the deadline will be posted on each page of the quiz.

F. Remember not to hit the “Save” button--doing so could be more harmful than helpful.
