WEEK 1.

Sample Calc I final:

  Go through this to see if the material from Calc I is still fresh
  in your memory.

  Note: There are several questions on limits. These questions use
  a theorem called l'Hopitals rule,  which was part of Calc I
  in the previously used textbook (Hughes-Hallett second edition)
  but is not in Calc I for the currently used textbook (Hughes-Hallett
  third edition). So if you took Calc I using Hughes-Hallett third edition,
  then you can skip the questions on limits because those questions use
  material that is no longer covered in Calc I.   To put it another way,
  the sample test I handed out to you was 1 year too old.


Section 7.1.  Ex. 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 55, 56, 70.
  However, I recommend you to look at other exercises as
  well, and you may also ask questions on other exercises in class.

      or a computer. Otherwise there would be *much* too many

      If you do not have a programmable calculater/computer
      right now, then use a smaller number of subdivisions.

Do 1/4 of exercises of 7.7 1-32 and of 7.8 1-27
and exercise 38 of 7.7, and ex. 34 of 7.8.
