The listed homework is the MINIMUM homework that you should be
doing. To do well in this course (ie. to receive an A or a B), you should be
doing
much more. Ideally, you should be doing at least one of every type of
problem in the section. The rule of thumb is that for every hour of lecture
time, you should be doing 2-3 hours of study time. So, for a 5 hours class
such as Calculus 3, that means 10-15 hours a week study time outside of the
lectures.
