Mathematics Dwight B. Goodner Fellowship Recipients

Millie and Dwight Goodner established an endowed fellowship fund to recognize teaching excellence in mathematics. There are two $500 Goodner Fellowships awarded each academic year to graduate teaching assistants selected as follows:

  1. $500 awarded annually for outstanding teaching to a graduate teaching assistant who has not yet completed the doctoral preliminary examinations or received a Master's degree in mathematics;

  2. $500 awarded annually for outstanding teaching to a graduate teaching assistant who has passed the doctoral preliminary examinations in mathematics.
This is a significant recognition for two graduate students each academic year.
