Courses Taught This Semester
MAP 5932-2 (Methods of Applied Math I)
Course objectives: To analyze various phenomena occurring in nonlinear dynamical systems (e.g., relaxation oscillations, limit cycles, bifurcations, multiplicity of solutions, hysteresis); and, (b) to describe some approximation methods arising in the study of nonlinear ODEs (e.g., Poincaré-Lindstedt, and multiple scales perturbation methods).
