Mathematical Economics

Mathematical economics at FSU addresses mathematical problems arising in markets, especially market dynamics and equilibria, as well as macroeconomic modeling.

At FSU, Paul Beaumont is interested in Financial Economics, Time Series, and Agent-based market dynamics. Alec Kercheval studies the dynamics of agent-based market models with learning, and the interplay between equilibrium and chaos.
