Postdoctorial Position in Algebra, Broadly Construed


The Department of Mathematics at The Florida State University is accepting applications for at least one postdoctoral fellowship position in mathematics, starting in August 2020. The main focus is in the area of Algebra, broadly construed. The appointment is for a period of two years. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in mathematics or a closely related area, a strong research record, and a commitment to excellence in teaching.

Preference will be given to candidates with research interests that have a strong overlap with the research interest of current faculty members (please visit https://www.math.fsu.edu/Research for more information). The candidates are encouraged to include the name or names of faculty at FSU who are closest to the candidate's research interests in their cover letter.
