Maple #7 is due Tuesday 3 Dec 2002 For FULL credit STAPLE your sheets together. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Actually unstapled assignments will not be accepted. Since the lowest maple score will be deleted, this assignment is optional, or it will replace your lowest current score. This maple assignment is for you to summerize the use of maple in the maple assignments by answering the following questions. In class we sometimes used fancier commands, like transform, but answer the questions only about the assignments themselves. #1. Most of our work was with the ploting commands. List the plot commands you needed to use for the assignments. Omit plot commands that were only used in class and not on any assignments. #2. Plot commands have many options, list the plot options you needed for any plot commands we used for the maple assignments. #3. At times the assignment did things with vectors and used the linalg package. While things like curl and diverge were used in class only a few were used on the assignments. List them. #4. List all other maple commands needed for the maple problems, we had a few doing calculus and few getting answers. #5. Finally Maple has its quirks, (saying it nicely,) list at least four quirks that would have helped a `younger you' most deal with Maple. For example, my #1 quirk would be you have to add a star between (x-1)(x-2) or between 2x or between x y.
