The department and university have issued further updates to the conditions under which the Final Exam must be administered. Based on these updates:
- The exam will be open notes, homework solutions, study question solutions, program comments.

For those taking the exam remotely, the pdf file will be made available on the class Canvas page shortly before the prompt start of the exam at 10:00. You must be connected to the zoom link https://fsu.zoom.us/my/kagallivan Links to an external site. (available on my home page) around 9:45 so all of you can be admitted and the communication reliability verified. You are required to scan and upload your solutions immediately on receiving instructions to so do at the end of the time allotted for the exam.
-
For those. taking the exam in the classroom, you must arrive around 9:45 so the hard copies can be distributed to allow the prompt start of the exam at 10:00.
-
For those who have not yet done so, send me or Yue email indicating your choice of location for taking the exam or your choice to not take the exam.
-
Due to the mixed nature of the method of administration of the exam, the starting and ending instructions will be strictly enforced.
-
You are encouraged to not rely excessively on your access to notes. Creating an index into your sources is encouraged to increase the efficiency of any note access you perform.
-
Finally, anyone requesting an incomplete must have the agreement completed before the time of the Final Exam. Anyone, not showing up for the exam without a completed incomplete or not having sent the email mentioned above, will be assumed to have chosen not to take the exam and your grade will be finalized accordingly.
