Guidelines for Extra Credit Work
The extra credit assignment is designed to encourage students to
apply what they are learning in Calc II to "real world" applications
based on material from other courses, or on things from every day life.
The student may do one extra credit assignment per unit test. Each
one will count as 2 extra points on the unit test. The extra credit
assignment may be passed in at any time before the final.
Please note that the extra points will not compensate from a low
performance on the test, but may help boost the score by one grade
point. Students who are getting poor marks on their tests should
consider changing their study habits before thinking about doing an
extra credit assignment.
