We have Portland Group International compilers. Specifically, we have
a single license for PGI Workstation 32/64, which includes F77, F95,
HPF, C and C++. OpenMP is fully supported.
The PGI compilers only work on the master node of Aster. So, to
compile, you must be on the master node. Typically this is not a
problem, since all nodes have the same homedir structure, so it's easy
to compile on the master and run on the slaves.
The correct environment for new users will automatically be set up as
accounts are created, but just in case the following two path elements
should be present to find the PGI compilers and Sun Grid Engine utils:
/usr/local/pgi/linux86-64/6.2/bin
/opt/gridengine/bin/lx26-amd64
