• (1)Connect to aster: ssh -Y aster.scs.fsu.edu
  (2)Set the environment for tecplot in your directory: source /etc/profile.d/tecplot.csh/
  (or put this line in your .login)
  (3)Launch Tecplot: tecplot
  Tecplot360 uses OpenGL for fast graphics. If the program complains 'Failed to create OpenGL Context' or similar, OpenGL is not installed in your terminal. Under this circumstance, you may use Tecplot without OpenGL by launching: tecplot -mesa
