I am an Assistant Professor of Biomathematics in the Department of Mathematics at The Florida State University. My research focuses on the development and analysis of dynamical systems representing complex biological phenomena. I am especially interested in applications to cancer onset, growth and response to treatment, wound healing, blood vessel growth and liver disease. More recently, I have developed an interest in the emerging and highly important field of parameter identifiability.

Before joining FSU I was a post-doc at the
Mathematical Biosciences Institute and at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies. Prior to that I obtained my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor under the supervision of Prof Trachette Jackson.

Here is a recent version of my
CV, and a publications list.
