Biofabrication
It sounds as though
it means the way
to quickly grow
a résumé
enough to catch
recruiters' eyes—
but it's no batch
of bio lies:
To biofab-
ricate instead
means using lab-
grown, sawdust-fed
mycelium
to constitute
a New-Age lum-
ber substitute
     that, after it
is thickly lard-
ed on a knitt-
ed trellis, hard-
ens into stuff
some engineers
think strong enough
to last for years ...
Hear what's among
my Old-Age doubts:
What if the fung-
us later sprouts
and tears the skin
of homes? ... Be glad
your home's an in-
organic pad!
