This course introduces students to models in mathematical biology that are described using partial differential equations (PDEs).
PDEs arise in biological, biochemical and biophysical modeling. Spatio-temporal models are used to model many phenomona. Course topics may include chemotaxis, Turing patterns, biofluids, biofilms, cancer, and calcium signaling.
Please contact the instructor for more information and the most recent syllabus.
