This course is designed to be an introductory seminar for graduate students wishing to learn about the field of biomathematics, including different applications of mathematics in biology and medicine.

This class is graded S/U - see the Simple Syllabus link for details. This is an attendance- and participation-based class. Students are encouraged to ask questions. Advanced graduate students may be asked to give a presentation in class. A maximum of 3 absences will be allowed in order to receive a passing grade.

Students are expected to participate in class, including asking the speaker questions about the content presented, or asking questions if you do not understand something. Class discussion will be encouraged.
