Abstract.
(joint work with Eran Makover) What does a typical surface of
constant curvature look like geometrically? We study this question by
modeling it on the geometric behavior of a randomly chosen 3-regular
graph. The resulting picture is an interesting mix of techniques from
Riemannian geometry, complex analysis, and probability theory, and
contains some surprising answers.
