Abstract.
The Fourier restriction problem is about determining all possible
(L^p, L^q) estimates for the restriction of the Fourier transform
to a sphere in Euclidean space R^n. This problem is closely related
with many other areas such as PDE and geometric measure theory.
A natural question may be to consider the corresponding problem
for other submanifolds in R^n. The problem we want to discuss today
is the case of curves in R^n for dimension 3 or higher. We will
review some well-known results and discuss a few recent results.
