Abstract. In this talk I will address recent progress on wave localization in nonlinear PT media. In particular we shall identify a regime for which the PT symmetry is unbroken which allows waves to be confined. Results from linear stability analysis and computational methods will be discussed. Finally, future research directions will be outlined.
