Past Research

I have previously worked on the modeling of Cholera in vitro with my advisor from Marymount University. We worked on an adapted model of and looked to a stochastic interpretation of the equations. This work was part of the 2012 DISCOVER grant.

I also attended the GMU Multi-disciplinary math REU in the Summer of 2012 to work on Modeling Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in vivo with Dr. Maria Emelianenko. We looked to adapt previous HIV models and look for viable improvements that would lead to more optimal treatment methods.

A write-up of our work can be found here: Write-Up
