The mug was designed by my daughter Alex, who was then a fashion major at SCAD. Her design is based on the idea that what most encapsulates our Department today is its interdisciplinary focus, and so it has a symbol representing each of the four areas: Applied & Computational Mathematics, Biomathematics, Pure Mathematics and Financial Mathematics.
