Workshop Information

The Workshop Program is available here. Also, all workshop participants can register for the workshop online at the following website: http://www.oai.org/aeroacoustics/events.html.

The objective of the workshop is to promote the application of computational methods in Aeroacoustics. The Scientific Committee has selected a set of realistic application problems in three categories to be solved along with problems on basic methods. Workshop participants may solve one or more problems in any problem category and submit numerical solutions for evaluation. Full descriptions of all the Fourth Workshop benchmark problems are found on this website.

Presentations are also welcome of solutions to the benchmark problems form the previous CAA Workshops. To make a workshop presentation, please send a one-page abstract by September 2, 2003 to:
Dr. Christopher Tam
Department of Mathematics
Florida State University
208 James J. Love Building
Tallahassee, FL 32306-4510, USA
Phone: (850) 644-2455; Fax: (850) 644-4053
Email: tam@math.fsu.edu

Simultaneous with the abstract submission, submit the numerical results for each benchmark problem to the email address listed for each individual problem on the website.

Please note that you do not need to submit an abstract or data in order to attend the workshop. In addition to the presentations of the benchmark problem solutions, a special session will feature successful applications of CAA to practical aeroacoustic problems.
