Overview

I am a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at Florida State University working under Dr. Reznikov. My research interests include functional analysis, operator theory, and harmonic analysis.

Research

  • Second-order Term for the Riesz-s energy aymptotics over the interval

Teaching

  • MAC 1140 - Pre-Calculus Algebra: basic analysis and applications of polynomial, rational, exponential, and logaritmic functions from a graphical and algebraic point of view, matrices, conic sections, and sequences
  • MAC 2311 -Calculus with Analytic Geometry I: polynomial, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions; first and second derivatives and their interpretations; definition and interpretation of the integral; differentiation rules; implicit differentiation; applications of the derivative; anti-derivatives; fundamental theorem of calculus
  • MAC 2312 - Calculus with Analytic Gemoetry II: techniques and more advanced applications of integration, convergence of infinite series, power series, and a brief look at differential equations.

Honors and Awards

  • 1st Place in FSU DeWitt Sumners Flash Talks Competition (April 2022)

Other

Apart from my current research in mathematics my background also includes work in organic chemistry and aesthetics:

Chemistry

  • Senior Research Project (East Stroudsburg University) - "Reactivity due to Ring Strain of Cyclic Anhydrides"
  • I have written a procedure for a 1st semester undergraduate physical chemistry experiment involving the Absorption spectrum of iodine.
  • I worked on a group project involving wine component analysis to dispute claims regarding the health benefits of drinking Red Wine.
  • Summer 2018 REU (University of Minnesota: Twin Cities) - "Using Pyridine to Remove Ruthenium Impurities after Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization"
  • Philosophy

  • 2019 Moravian Undergraduate Philosophy Conference - "Beauty in the Eye of Schopenhauer"
