Abstract. Partially parallel imaging (PPI) is an emerging magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology in compressive sensing. By partial data acquisition PPI reduces scan time significantly, but this reduction leads to serious aliasing artifacts in images. Motivated by this application we developed several efficient algorithms for total variation-based image reconstruction. In this talk I will introduce two of them. They are Bregman operator splitting (BOS) with variable step size to improve the performance of BOS, and accelerated primal dual method, which has an optimal rate of convergence.
