Speaker: Benjamin Jaye Abstract. Over the last thirty years, several breakthroughs have been made regarding the behavior of analytic and harmonic functions through first understanding the geometric properties of measures for which an associated singular integral operator is well behaved. In this talk, we shall introduce some of the central problems in the geometric theory of singular integral operators, and see how describing a certain object called a reflectionless measure can shed new light on these problems. This talk is based on joint work with Fedor Nazarov, Maria Carmen Reguera, and Xavier Tolsa. |
