and Applications

Abstract. Persistent homology is a tool to discover and
quantify topological structure in the form of persistence barcodes,
persistence diagrams, or persistence landscapes. This talk will first
introduce persistent homology and then describe the Euler
Characteristic Transform (ECT). In addition, several applications
to analyses of shapes and networks will be given, including
many illustrations.
