Abstract. In the past four decades, there has been
considerable interest in signal alignments. Nevertheless, little
literature has been done if not only aligning signals but also
extracting the underline trend. In this talk, I will formulate
the problem, give proofs, and provide a new method. Finally,
application to bio-signals will be discussed.
